The kids and pets have left the nest so my husband Jesse has hatched a plan for us to be able to spend more time together. He informs me that we’ll “combine our strengths”… my shopping skills, coupled with his knowledge of salvage. With cautious enthusiasm he went on to describe overnight salvage trips together!!! To set the hook he added that I could bring my laptop with my wireless connection to help him find salvage stops along the way, not to mention to stay in touch with my own business and the kids; and as an added bonus he’ll teach me all about salvage. Truth be told, he had me with the notion that I could bring my laptop and stay connected!!
Warning: The trip we are about to take has nothing to do with my kind of shopping and everything to do with finding items to bring back to the Vermont Salvage store.
Since I will have my laptop and plenty of driving time between stops, I thought that it might be fun to start a salvage travel blog. So stay tuned for the first great adventure, Salvaging New York with Lynne and Jesse.
